Outside In
The cabin is designed for outside living, with six metre bi -fold doors that on sunny days transform the barn house allowing you to enjoy the morning sun and evening sunset. As night falls on Knotting Hill, the spell is cast, the camping glade comes alive with hundreds of fairy lights festooned high amidst the trees. The driveway is illuminated by tree lights. Light bathes the BBQ fire pit, pizza oven and wood fired hot tub allowing you to relax and enjoy these unique facilities until bedtime finally calls.
Inside Out
Panelled throughout in reclaimed wood with intricate attention to detail and the highest quality finish, the cabin is heated throughout with underfloor heating.
Ancient stone gate pillars create a striking focal point for the living area and frame a log burner which provides the heating and hot water for the house. Sofas, chairs and fittings from Oka, Made and top local suppliers create a warm cosy interior.

Awash with bluebells in the spring and wild flowers in the summer the seasons transform the wood. Nestled in a glade, deep in a wood, the cabin lies in a completely private setting amidst elegant silver birch, oak, cherry and chestnut trees. The wood is home to an abundance of wildlife: pheasants, squirrels, muntjack, and red kites the occasional mink. You may be befriended by resident ducks Phillis and Dorris. The wood becomes your own natural haven.

Soak the day and night away in the wood fired hot tub. Our pizza oven cooks great pizzas and is also an open air oven. The fire pit will not only cook your food perfectly but will keep you warm into the night nestled on the benches.
Wild Swimming
Join the ducks and frogs for a dip or an adventure in the canoes. Our wild swimming lake has a pontoon and canoes for you to enjoy. The lake is well stocked with fish; bring your rod and enjoy but please catch and return, don’t catch and eat!

Warm floors and a double ended bath with amazing mirror TV help you soak away the day. Powerful showers inside and outside always have plenty of piping hot water.

Warm and cosy with the finest linens, we have hunted high and and low for what we consider to be some of the comfiest beds around and finished them off with fur to keep you warm when there is snow on the ground. Three double rooms and one twin accommodate up to eight people. The master suite has a fabulous en suite wet room.
